We are accepting donations for The Jimmy Fund and directly for Jeanne's medical care. Please note, the ticket sales for this event are set up to go DIRECTLY to THE JIMMY FUND and its programs. When you buy a ticket, you will be supporting The Jimmy Fund!

Jeanne will be presented with a check at the benefit, and the donations received from other related events are set aside in an interest account, solely used for paying for medical related expenses. Donations for Jeanne's medical care are not accessile by anyone other than designated family members who have been given access to payment of medical bills on Jeanne's behalf. No monies gathered from this website or the events relating to this benefit will be used for anything other than Jeanne Shippey's medical expenses or donations to The Jimmy Fund.

What About Items for Accepted Other Than Cash?

Wonder what else you can do if you can't help out with a cash donation? Plenty! We could use items to raffle or sell through auction throughout the year for Jeanne's health care. We're happy to accept items of value for auction or raffle, and if you would like to donate anything for this, please email us, and we'll be happy to talk to you about it.

We're putting together a "Feel Better" basket for The Jimmy Fund and one for Aunt Jeannie. The Feel Better basket includes items that keep patients entertain and occupied during chemotherapy treatments, or longer stays in the hospital or Dana Farber clinics. Items might include: DVDs, books, cds, or puzzle books, even a hand made blanket, to keep our patients warm in those chilly hospital rooms would be wonderful!

Gift certificates and gift cards are a great way to help out. Donate a week of massages from a Massachusetts based business, or even a certificate from a hat, wig, or comfort clothing shop. Donate restaurant and catering service cards, for Jeanne or other Dana Farber patients who are unable to cook for themselves or their families while they're undergoing treatments. If you'd like to donate anything other than cash, we'll be happy to help you get these donations into the Feel Better basket, year-round, or for presentation during the benefit! Just email, and we'll send the details!

Volunteer!

Do you want to help out? Are you a Las Vegas resident? We'd love to hear from you if you have extra time during the week or weekends. We need people to help deliver flyers to area businesses, and to pick up auction items, or Feel Better basket items and deliver them to our central offices. We need people to visit local colleges and spread the word about the Benefit. Do you want to be a comedian? We can't help you there, but you may be able to help us on the night of the event! Just email and let us know what you'd like to do, or what you're able to do!
